ReplyDeleteI can't figure out why the drivetrain components are all Shimano 105, but the brakes are Shimano Tiagra (one step below the 105's). General tip when looking for Shimano components- don't go any lower than the 105 which is Shimano's "entry level racing" component set. The Tiagra and Sora are basically recreational riding and will add unnecessary weight and aren't as durable/reliable. The Tiagra brakes aren't bad but maybe see if the shop would consider upgrading it to 105? Just my unsolicited two cents :)
yeah, being a 2010, it was the only bike i could find with 105s and under my budget (less than one month's rent! lol). i'm afraid to call the store and find out i have to travel all over the world to find my size, or worse, they're all out.
